Lamborghini and Exotic Supercar Detailing in Austin
Thin clear coat, exposed carbon and cars that cannot clear a driveway lip
Overview
Most of our portfolio is exotic. Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren and the collector cars parked beside them make up the majority of the appointments we photograph, and they are the vehicles the mobile model suits best — a car that is difficult and stressful to drive across town is a car that should be detailed where it sits.
Thin, soft clear coat over composite panels
Low-volume manufacturers paint carbon and composite panels as often as metal ones, and the clear coat over them is frequently thinner than on a production car. Composite does not sink heat the way steel does, so a polisher left on one spot builds temperature quickly. That is the single biggest risk in exotic correction, and the reason we measure film thickness per panel and work in short, controlled passes rather than long ones.
Exposed carbon fibre has its own failure mode
Exposed carbon is a weave under lacquer, and that lacquer yellows and hazes under Texas UV. It also has hard edges — splitters, mirror caps, diffusers — where a pad will strike through in seconds. Carbon gets hand work at the edges, taped-off boundaries, and a UV-stable protective layer afterwards. Once carbon lacquer has clouded, the fix is refinishing, not polishing.
Access, clearance and where the car actually is
This is the practical difference between exotic detailing and everything else. Splitters and long front overhangs mean many of these cars cannot leave a driveway without ramps, dihedral and scissor doors need vertical and lateral clearance to open fully, and some collections are parked nose-in with inches to spare. We plan all of that before arrival: how the car will be positioned, whether it needs to move at all, and where lighting goes so we can actually see the paint.
Track livery, wraps and PPF already fitted
Many exotics arrive already wearing a wrap, a livery or film applied elsewhere. Those surfaces need different chemistry and different pressure to paint, and edges must be respected so nothing lifts. We work over them carefully; we do not install or remove them.
Wheels, brakes and titanium exhaust
Forged wheels are often finished in a delicate lacquer, carbon-ceramic discs should not see harsh acidic cleaners, and titanium exhaust tips discolour permanently if attacked with the wrong product. Each of those gets its own chemistry. Wheels can be removed by arrangement so barrels and calipers are cleaned properly rather than reached through the spokes.
Interiors of Alcantara, leather and carbon
An exotic cabin usually mixes Alcantara, semi-aniline leather, exposed carbon and metal hardware within arm's reach of each other. There is no single product for that. The interior work is the same material-by-material process described on our interior detailing page, done slowly.
Discretion
Collections are private. We arrive in an unmarked working setup, publish photographs only with the owner's approval, and never disclose an address or the contents of a garage.

Questions
Frequently asked
- Do you detail supercars on-site in Austin?
- Yes, and it is most of what we do. The setup is self-contained — filtered water, inverter power and inspection lighting — so the car never has to be driven or trailered anywhere.
- My car is very low. Is that a problem?
- No, but tell us at the enquiry stage. We plan ramps, positioning and working space so the vehicle either does not move or moves once, on a level surface.
- Do you work on wrapped or filmed cars?
- Yes. We clean, decontaminate and protect wrapped and filmed surfaces with appropriate chemistry. We do not install or remove wrap or film.
- Are you affiliated with any manufacturer?
- No. Morello's is an independent mobile detailer. Manufacturer names here describe the vehicles we service and imply no affiliation, authorisation or endorsement.
